There's lots of stuff to do here.  There's also a lot of stuff nearby.  Most of it within an hour's drive of Abbotsford.  There's a volcano in another country to the south of us, hot springs and resorts to the east, a zoo and museum to the west and an abundance of lakes, rivers and nature parks to the north.

Don't look now, but there's a mountain right outside your door.  Four top-ranked ski areas within an hour's drive of town, make Abbotsford a logical headquarters for the ski buff.  Abbotsford is also home to some of the best trout, salmon and steelhead fishing in the world.

113 parks, need we say more!  Take a leisurely stroll around Mill Lake and Centennial Park (a good place to bring the kids), enjoy Matsqui Trail on the dyke down by the Fraser River or cycle one of our many country roads that seem to go on forever.  If wilderness hiking is more to your liking, then Sumas Mountain is ideal (also great for horseback riding).
